Importance Of Personal Soul-Winning

    The greatest soul-winners on earth, in the majority of cases, were won by the personal touch. They were hand-picked fruit. Andrew Bonar has said that there will not be a redeemed soul in Heaven who has not a human thumb-mark upon it.

    Peter was personally led to Christ by his brother Andrew. Peter in turn won thousands. A timid woman plucked up courage to give a tract to Richard Baxter, and through the tract he was led to Christ. He became the great Puritan preacher who wrote "Saint’s Everlasting Rest," which in turn was the means of the conversion, among others, of Leigh Richmond, Philip Dodridge, and William Wilberforce. Within their ministries, they influenced tens of thousands for Christ.

    Probably nine-tenths of believers today add nothing to the evangelizing forces of the Church of Jesus Christ. Hear the Word of the Lord: "They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever" (Dan. 12:3).
