How many of us sing, "Have Thine Own Way, Lord," and then when He begins to have His own way with our uncrucified self, our unbroken wills, our proud spirits--how we grieve Him by our rebellion. This is an evidence of a false consecration and that we have not at all brought ourselves and surrendered ourselves to Him.
Bring yourself now to Him, that weak self, that worldly self, and all that you are and have, and let Him take you and make you His own. There is no limit to what He can do with any life that is completely abandoned to His working.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Eph. 2:10).
