Because Of Calvary All Things Are Mine!
By Edna M. Woodin
I lay down my failure, pollution and shame:
Shall I go vanquished, His Blood flow in vain
When “all things are mine”? (1Cor. 3:21).
I lay down the flesh-life, my fears and my gloom;
Go, things of the old life, with Christ to the tomb!
New things are mine (2 Cor. 5:17).
I lay down my weakness, infirmities, too; (Matt. 8:17).
His Risen Life taken createth anew.
Faith-things are mine.
I take up His Victory. All was for me.
I take up His joy and His strength flowing free.
His things are mine.
I take my position – oh, marvelous grace!
Raised up in union to Heavenly Place! (Eph. 2:6).
High things are mine.
Wielding the prayer-rod of Calvary’s power,
Thy Hand on my hand, Lord, hold each hour (Phil. 2:13).
All things are mine.
