With New Determination

    It is most strongly laid upon my heart that the months ahead will be critical months. I want in these months just ahead to lay hold of God in a very definite and persistent manner, in strong faith, that it is His time to work mightily. We must be submissive for God is sovereign, but we must also be insistent for shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night unto Him?

    In this respect we are probably needing more concentrated reading of the Scriptures, a lively obedience to the light the Spirit gives, and beseeching prayer in the light of the truth received. Only those who carry it out seriously will realize experimentally how much is involved. Let this be our determination: more reading of the Word of God; more praying in the light of the Word and insistent pleading with God after the manner of Daniel 9:19.
