A Glorious Church
By Lois J. Stucky (1928 – 2014)
What a praise to God the church today would be if in actuality every member would “put on the new man” as the Apostle Paul instructs, and reflect the image of Christ – “…put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another…even as Christ forgave you...But above all these things put on love…” (Col. 3:12-14). Would not the church then be that “glorious church…holy and without blemish” (Eph. 5:27) which Christ is longing to take to Himself?
